Painting and moving

Before we moved to the new Town Västervik. It only took two days for the apartment to look awesome!  And I love it!
I was painting up these last guys. Now it's only a few devestators and a whole company has been painted!
6 tactical squads 2 devestator squad with every loadout and 2 assault(bike ) squads. There you go. now I only need some transports for all.

Västervik is a simi large town, we are living in this little (devided in to small apartments ) yellow old house.  Very cosy!
Got a new job! Check!  At a toystore, I have worked in the chain before so as I see it right now it's a upgrade!

This is the colour scheme me and my spouse came up with for our small death wing squad with a converted Baliel. Pics on them will come up later when they are done.

Painting yellow and space marines

My girlfriend asked me a few days ago why I don't have a "yellow army " well it's not because it's sooooo damn hard the get the yellow in a good way, it's more because I had this 1000 pts of Imperial Fists a long time ago and I sold a some of the and the rest stripped down the paint on the things I could use.
But... now just because she asked, my mind is deciding if I should start paint up some Lamenters.?
Well I always wanted to do something with the blood angels codex and I'm a space marine freak so I think it's time to start a small force only with Death Company marines and dreads.
Well... The future will tell!

Also I just want to say that I miss you Niklas my Brother in arms and old neighbour!  It was too long since I saw you now. We need to hang out soon and play some games.

Wraiths

In this list I'm using wraiths as main force and my defence line with some guardians and rangers way in the back and if I can I won't put an objective there because I know they will try to steal it and if something is going to hit t3 it will get vaporised by anything better than a grot blaster. 
The pictures I'm putting out is from a game when this happend.  I was running towards my enemy and the guardians got crushed. I was trying to make it with some wraiths over the those are slow then you need them.

The list I have written and tweak little on is.

Farseer
Wraithseer

10 wraithblades w/ axe and shield.
5 wraithguards
10 guardians w/ scatter laser
5 rangers

2 Wraithlord w/ glaive, flamers and shruriken cannon (for extra shots)
Wriathknight w/ suncannon (got to love it) shield, scatter laser for twin-linking goodie.

Defenceline

This list is massive. I just love it, played a few games against necrons and The only thing I have problems with is the lychguards and overlords which in this game I remember to take pictures on he had them 10 strong and outflanking with the warlord trait.

Close game but the Knight is just too fucking awesome.  He looks so damn scary too. ;)

Story telling (WIP)

Earth shocked. The guardsmen of the 65th regiment were totally destroyed and everyone ran for third and last defence post at the city of Dragmonto. The city were lost, demons rampaged everywhere and the traitor legion screamed for victory, another city who had fallen to the Alpha Legion dark hands.

Alpha legion's most successful sorcerer were the summoner and commander of the powerful spawns of chaos.
The demons were called flamers for their burst blue flame who killed every guardsmen that they touched.
The 6th regiment were under functional number for regroup and General Broadgill maybe wasn't the leader the regiment needed, for he was busy in other things in his bunker.
Blue company sended a distress signal to adeptus minitorium but never been answered to.

The blue company made a last stand at the outpost, yellow company made the second call the adeptus minitorium Awnser was : the second company of the salamanders astarters is on its way. Cournel jihb were relived and the third defenceline were getting prepared.

This is the first little part in the story how my Imperial guard and Salamanders get allied. 

New years resolution (WIP)

Remember when I told about that secret new years resolution?
This is what I have worked on!(so far) This started out with 1000pts and now expanding out to 1500.  Adding up some troops and ten Assault Marines and a Marshall with jump pack and Lighting claws. 

My limeted ed chaplin, some cuts and cross and now he's Chaplin Grimaldus!

It was easy to soften up the robe and remove the DA iconography.

I used some GK Terminator heads for the crusader look!

A little punch for Anti Infantry, 4 Heavy Bolters adding up 12 s5 ap4 shots. they often get back their points.

The big scoring unit with Noephytes and a sword brother with power sword.

HERALDS OF RUIN KILL TEAM (WIP)

This is my kill team for our league at the gaming club.  I need some spawns for it and a champion.

This will be converted to a Cthonian Blade, a Flesh Bane AP3 Weapon.

Wraith Knight FINISH

Now guys. My Knight is ABSOLUTLY DONE.

Long time no see.

It has been TOO long since I updated a shit here!
I've been working on some stuff guys.
But the last months has been really rough.

I'm done with the Business school now and I had this project that I've been working on, that took three months! So little time went off for the 40king stuff. But I will post some pictures of the work and games i remembered to take photos on.

I have a girlfriend. She the the most beautiful person I know AND she's supporting my hobby! Can it get better? I'm even thinking of moving in together with her after the summer. Maybe even move to another city for her. that's how much I love her.

Highligts and perks since I updated last.
I won the 40k tournament at CalCon 2014 with Eldar. 1500pts I had two relatively easy games and one hard.
The first game was against a hard hitting Blood angels list with lots of terminators and death company. relatively competitive but he was easly out outmaneuvered by my Jetbikes and Warp spiders.
The second was between Space marines. It went well. Two flyers and lots of terminators and tanks. A very shooty list but like i always do, try to isolate all units and gun them down with Jetbikes and Warp spiders : tagteam. But the highlight was when the mantach assaulted missile devsquad and got a krak right in the face and missed the cover save the first time and did it on the reroll, assaulted in and took down 4 of them (the sargant was killed the round before).
The last game was between Stormlord Necrons allied with tau. TAU REALLY! OKEY NO NERDRAGE NEEDED ON MY OWN BLOG ;) but with the tricky little bikes I was contesting all of his objectives and won with my own in the backfield.

I was lucky to pull in the neighbour in to 40k and he went with Necrons.
We had a blast painting and gaming together, late nights and a lot of beer. I really needed it when I lived in Kalmar 'cuz I was so alone without my real gameclub Vimmerby Wargming but I was still a member in the Kalmar Gaming Community.

World eater pre heresy

Hey guys, just finished reading hours heresy trilogy. So i came up with this little idea. I know it's not pre heresy armour but I wanted to test the paint job on some space marines just to test paint white. They are not finished. Just base coated the white and glued on the shoulder pads.

First I need to buy new colours..
The white paint was not the best with clumps and stuff.. urg..
This is a project that I'm gonna be running for a time now.

My plan is to play a 1000 pts with the chaos marines codex. I'm not sure because I like plague marines more than berzerkers..
So maybe death guard with garro as commander. 
I bought an old rhino a few months back and now it's the time to use it I think.

Salamanders vs Alpha Legion

This weekend I went to my home Vimmerby.
I first had a game with my cousin.
1500 pts of zombies, plague marines and zombies. Great.
Thanks god that my cousin forgets stuff when we are playing like feel no pain.
Mission: The relic

The first two rounds I was afraid, two full units of fearless zombies ( I smelled tarpit) plus elite guys behind.
70 something models vs 32.
His hellbrute with lascanon did everything that was wrong. We had a big laugh about it on his cost.
Two fully loaded land raiders with tactical squads backed up by two heavy terminators and librarians rolled upp turn two and rapid fire everything and the terminator went on the plague marines.
Turn 4 he gave up after only 12 zombies left and dome plague marines and typhus and his bodyguard.
I forgot to take the last pictures.

Now I have seen what the biomancy tree do to power armour. Wow. Great powers, even the primaris power smite.
Two games will be rolled upp tomorrow with the same list. I will take a picture of it and write down the army list soon.

Thoughts: the librarian

Okey, at the morning before work I sat tweaked on my 2 land raider 1500 list that fritz inspired me to work on a year ago. Now with the new codex I needed to do a new one.
In the old codex I had cassius as Hq. Now I just realised that a libby can take biomass you! Wow! That is huge in a gaming club then most of the guys plays of course MEQ.
The biomancy tree offers alot of Ap 2 stuff and on a lvl 2 libby it's a chance to get iron arm. Suddenly a libby can be the tank in a terminator squad and hit at initiative, I like power sword + the strength.

With this I'm not saying my libby will do the job for me but I have a chance to do just the little extra that I need in a list with only 27-+ models.
I will post some pictures of the list and full detail on it when it's painted and ready for a game. I will play two games in the upcoming weekend. So I hope it will be interesting.
